Colfarm Sodium Butyrate is a food intended for special medical purposes for adults.
Contains sodium butyrate in the form of prolonged-release micropellets, encapsulated in cellulose capsules resistant to gastric acids.
The butyric acid contained in the capsules is a short-chain fatty acid; it is an energy source for the intestinal epithelium and has a beneficial effect on the digestive tract.

Indicated for the dietary treatment of the following disorders:
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Abdominal pain and flatulence
Acute diarrhea of various origins
Persistent constipation
Inflammatory bowel diseases
Disturbed intestinal flora, for example during and after antibiotic therapy.

Directions for use:
Adults: orally 1 capsule once a day.
The capsule should be swallowed whole with lukewarm or cold water, during a meal.

Warnings and precautions:
Must be taken under medical supervision. The duration of use should be agreed with your doctor.
The product is not intended for parenteral use.
The product is not a complete nutritional food. It is not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
Do not use without medical indications to consume the product.
Do not use in children and people with swallowing disorders or in cases where swallowing is difficult.
In case of allergy (hypersensitivity) to any of the product components, use must be discontinued.
Store at a temperature below 25°C.
Keep out of reach of young children.
Protect from moisture.
