Colfarm Sodium Butyrate 60 k

Colfarm Sodium Butyrate is a special medical food for adults. It contains sodium butyrate in the form of prolonged-release micropellets encapsulated in cellulose capsules resistant to gastric acid. The butyrate contained in the capsules is a short-chain fatty acid that serves as an energy source for the intestinal epithelium and has beneficial effects on the gastrointestinal tract.

Indicated for the dietary treatment of the following conditions:
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Abdominal pain and flatulence
Acute diarrhea of various origins
Persistent constipation
Inflammatory bowel disease
Disturbed intestinal flora, for example during and after antibiotic therapy.
