Nothing simpler:
Comfrey is a plant that has been used for hundreds of years as a natural healing aid. The plant is native to almost all of Europe and parts of Asia. Both the leaves and root of the plant are traditionally used. Comfrey root (Radix symphyti), available in the form of dried plant fragments, is used to prepare special decoctions, compresses, as well as ointments and tinctures for external use. Properly prepared comfrey root is used to support tissue regeneration. A decoction of the plant's root can be used on skin injuries. The plant contains allantoin, tannins, B vitamins, as well as vitamins A, C, and E. The tannins contained in the plant accelerate the healing of minor injuries and soothe irritations, burns, and frostbite. Compresses containing prepared comfrey root help heal bruises, sprains, and recover from broken bones.
The herb is intended for bath preparation. Pour 1.5 liters of water into the bag (50 g) and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Let stand for 30 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally. Then pass through a fine sieve into a basin of water at a temperature of about 37°C. The bath should last up to 20 minutes.
