Monte Veronese is an Italian PDO cheese from the northern Italian region of Veneto. The milk originates primarily from the Alps, rich in fertile pastures with a long tradition of cattle breeding, milk production, and cheesemaking. Monte Veronese D' allevo is made from semi-skimmed milk obtained from cows that graze in the high mountains from May to October. Perfect for a cheese board. A source of healthy protein and calcium necessary for healthy teeth and bones. It pairs well with bitter preserves and a good glass of Bardolino . It will also work well as an addition to salads, bread, or paired with pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, and other vegetables.
