Organic kidney beans (red kidney beans) are included in the legumes. The name kidney beans comes from the kidney shape of the seeds. They are an excellent source of plant fiber and protein. Recommended for soups and stews, such as chili con carne, and as an ingredient in salads, both hot and cold, and after being mixed into pasta and pâtés.

PREPARATION
After soaking for at least 12 hours and rinsing, the beans should be boiled in fresh, unsalted water for about 60 minutes. Salt the beans only at the end of cooking.
