Pharmaceutically pure potassium iodide, min. 99.5%
Chemical formula: KI

Potassium iodide is an inorganic chemical compound. It is the potassium salt of hydroiodic acid.

APPLICATION
- in organic synthesis,
- in spectroscopy,
- in chemical analysis,
- lightly added to table salt (iodized salt),
- component of Lugol's fluid (iodine dissolved in an aqueous solution of potassium iodide),
- iodine component
