Century Formula is a formula that provides a complete set of vitamins and minerals. Vitamins regulate many biochemical processes and are necessary for health and proper body function. Vitamins are divided into two categories: water-soluble vitamins (B and C vitamins) and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K vitamins).
Minerals are essential for the proper functioning of the body. They are exogenous compounds, meaning they must be supplied to the body through diet. Minerals are responsible, among other things, for the correct structure of teeth and bones and as components forming the structural elements of skin, hair, and nails, supporting the immune system (especially zinc), playing an essential role in the formation of hemoglobin and red blood cells, being responsible for hydro-electrolytic and acid-base balance, and are part of many enzymes, chemical compounds, hormones, and transport proteins. Minerals are divided into: macronutrients: calcium, magnesium, potassium, and micronutrients: iron, copper, zinc, manganese, molybdenum, iodine, chromium, selenium.
