Organic spelt pasta 500g

Delicious Alce Nero spaghetti pasta is made with organic spelt flour. It's an excellent substitute for pasta made with durum wheat flour. We recommend this pasta, especially with Alce Nero tomato sauces.

Spaghetti is made from spelt, a very old variety of wheat that was cultivated long before the grain most commonly used today. The spelt flour used to make pasta is darker in color because the grains used are ground whole. As a result, the Alce Nero pasta dough swells slightly after cooking, is heavier, and therefore more substantial. The taste of the cooked pasta impresses with a delicate nutty note. Spelt flour is an excellent source of inulin, which acts as a soluble dietary fiber. As a result, it naturally stimulates the digestive system. Spelt flour contains B vitamins and minerals such as zinc, copper, potassium, and traces of iron.

HOW TO PREPARE

Boil 100g of pasta in 1.5 liters of water. Add 15g of salt to cook. 'Al dente' cooking time: approximately 11 minutes.
